Welcome to the unofficial web site of Chirk Retained fire station, one of the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service fire stations. We hope that you find the site of use, and take time to look at the various topics. We have mainly targeted this site as an insight into general safety, first aid, and interest in the fire and rescue service for all ages.

We especially hope that the younger children browse, and pick up the safety points that we have under the various headings. There is a need to make awareness of the danger with the young, and we ask that parents will take time to talk through the reasons for the advice we give.

All the information is here with best intention, but should you have any needs for specific advice, or a visit then contact your local fire and rescue service and speak to them. The information isn't exhaustive on any subject, and we suggest that a topic such as first aid would be an insight, and proper training should be sought to gain practical skills.
